Isaac Vallentin is a Canadian musician, writer, and media artist. He’s released five albums, swerving freely between the traditions of folk, rock, jazz, soul, country, and electronic music. He’s toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe, and Asia.
In addition to music, Vallentin has created award-winning posters, album covers, and music videos for hundreds of artists. His visual work has been exhibited around the world and featured in The Guardian, The New York Times, and Vice.
Vallentin currently lives in Pictou, Nova Scotia. His 2022 album Juma, was accompanied by a full-length film and a book of his collected lyrics, published by Folly House. His 2023 album Bardo is a 20-song, 25-minute immersive meditation on rebirth.
